If you want hands-on help, you should know who will do the work, what it will cost and who is responsible for getting it live. That starts with one of our engineers reviewing your app.

We assess your app.
A certified Joylo Architect, one of our own in-house engineers, reviews your code and the work needed. Expert Assist starts at $500 for 10 architect hours. On Co-Build, the assessment happens within the first week of your engagement.

AGREE THE WORK
You see the plan and price.
You get the diagnosis, the recommended work and the engineering hours it will take. A smaller issue may already be resolved in those first 10 hours. If more work is needed, you see the recommendation before committing to more hours.

We get your app live.
Agree the scope and purchase the recommended hours. We then guarantee that scope will go live, subject to the responsibilities and exclusions below. If our estimate falls short, the engineering overrun is ours.
Expert Assist has a 24-hour first-response SLA. That is the time to hear from us, not a promise to finish every project within 24 hours.

People can sign in safely
- Authentication, roles and access control work end to end, with sessions and password reset tested.
- Secrets, tokens and API keys stay on the server and are not exposed in browser code or logs.
- Input validation and protection against common web vulnerabilities are checked by an engineer.
Data is stored and protected properly
- The database structure, indexes, relationships and migrations are reviewed, with automated backups in place.
- Simultaneous actions are designed and tested for data integrity, so multiple users can work without corrupting each other's data.
The app can handle its expected users
- Performance and scalability are checked against the load you expect, rather than a small demonstration dataset.
- Error handling, logging and alerts help identify what happened when something goes wrong.
The launch setup is ready
- The deployment process and environment configuration are reviewed, with a rollback path tested before launch.
- Your custom domain, SSL and uptime monitoring are live before you send users to the app.

The production guarantee begins when you agree the scope and purchase the recommended hours. The $500 block covers the initial assessment and engineering work. Any further hours are quoted before you commit.

A named, in-house Joylo engineer drives the build. You review progress together in three 30-minute meetings each week. Co-Build 160 also includes a dedicated developer and a fractional business analyst.
No separate Expert Assist assessment to buy. We assess the project, agree the scope and the engineering hours it needs, and apply the guarantee to that agreed plan.

This may include payment, email, storage or API accounts your app relies on.
Agree changes before we build them.
If the scope changes, we set out the revised work and hours before it starts. The guarantee then applies to the newly agreed plan.

We stand behind the work we agree to deliver. These are the decisions and dependencies the guarantee does not cover.
Your business rules
You decide what the app calculates, charges and approves. We implement the agreed rules and question anything that looks wrong. Confirming that those rules are right for your market and regulatory obligations remains your responsibility.
Regulatory approval and audit sign-off
Engineering reviews do not establish your app's regulatory compliance or give it an independent certification. Assessments, certifications and audit sign-off sit outside this guarantee, including work relating to HIPAA, PCI DSS, GDPR or other requirements.
That work requires its own scope and contract. Your responsibilities for the data in your app remain yours. We can introduce you to our sister company, HST Solutions, to discuss compliance work.
Apple or Google app store approval
For a mobile build included in the agreed scope, we can prepare, sign and submit the app against the published guidelines. Apple and Google decide whether to approve it. If rejected, we review the reason, fix what is within our control and resubmit.
Third-party decisions and outages
We cannot control a payment provider declining an account, an API outage, a delayed domain registration or a bank refusing an integration. We work around what we can and tell you promptly when a dependency is outside our control.
Work beyond the agreed scope
The guarantee attaches to the plan we gave you. A new direction or additional features need a revised scope and hour recommendation, agreed before that work begins. Extra engineering needed to finish the original agreed scope because we underestimated it remains our responsibility.
Customer adoption and commercial success
We guarantee delivery of the agreed app. We cannot guarantee sign-ups, revenue or a successful business. Your pricing, marketing and customer adoption remain yours to lead.
THE PROMISE BEHIND THE PLAN
If we don't get it live,
we keep working.
If you follow the agreed plan and your app is still not in production, we keep going at no extra engineering cost until that scope is live.
This applies within the responsibilities and exclusions set out above. Our estimate is our risk to carry. We do not charge you for our own rework or hand back an unfinished app and call it done.
If the initial assessment shows we cannot deliver the outcome, we tell you during the first 10 hours of Expert Assist, or the first week of Co-Build. You get the reason and your options before committing to the recommended delivery plan.
Your code and data stay yours. You can export them and leave at any time.
